Dutch Oven Stuff...

We are 5th generation Oregonians that got started in Dutch oven cooking after reading a diary kept as our great, great grandfather, James H. Wilson, traveled over the Oregon Trail in 1853. In the diary there are many days that his wfe Mary, is mentioned as cooking a meal in the 'black pot'.

After much research into this type of pot and the method of cooking in it, we became addicted to using and collecting cast iron. In our travels we found lots of Dutch ovens for sale but found very few FUN items to go along with our collection of cooking equipment.

We wanted aprons and shirts that told the community we were "Dutch Oven Cooks." Since none were to be found, we designed our own for some of the cooking events we competed in. The rest is history and you can now purchase some of our favorite items, that we believe will put a little 'attitude' behind your cooking pot.
