Sue's Buttermilk Biscuits

400°F

12" Dutch oven

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2/3 cup buttermilk

Pre-heat Dutch oven.

Mix all dry ingredients, add liquid and stir with a spoon.Turn dough onto a floured surface and pat into a circle, ½ to ¾ inch thick.

Cut into a circle using a biscuit cutter and place in Dutch oven.

Bake 15 minutes or until golden brown.
