Lasagna Dutch Oven Style 350°F 12" shallow Dutch oven 1 package Johnsonville Italian Sausage® 1 pound ground beef 1 (16 oz.) container ricotta cheese 1 package lasagna noodles, pre-cooked 1 pound cheddar cheese, shredded and divided 3 eggs, beaten 1 tablespoon each of parsley, oregano, rosemary and garlic Salt and pepper to taste 2 (28 oz.) cans tomato sauce
Brown sausage and beef together. Add spices and one can of tomato sauce. Simmer for 1 hour, set aside or use another Dutch oven.In a large bowl mix together ricotta cheese, eggs, salt and pepper. In Dutch oven add 1 cup of tomato sauce. Layer noodles, meat and ricotta cheese mixture, repeat layering. Pour remaining tomato sauce over the top of layered mixture. Top with shredded cheese. Bake for 1¼ hours.
