Chili Burger Supper

350°F

12” Dutch oven

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 (15 oz.) cans Chili Con Carne®
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, diced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 6 cups water
  • 4 cups elbow macaroni
  • 1 cup Velveeta® cheese, cut into 1 inch pieces
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Add water to Dutch oven and bring to a boil, add macaroni and cook until noodles are soft, drain and set aside.

Add oil to Dutch oven and heat. Add onions and bell pepper, cook until onions are translucent. Add hamburger and cook until hamburger is done, stirring every 5 minutes. Add chili, cooked macaroni, salt and pepper, stir to blend.

Simmer 15 minutes, top with chunks of cheese and serve.
